As far as we are concerned, Walsenburg is one of the most beautiful towns in Colorado, thanks to its Spanish Peaks setting. To fully appreciate the stunning area, we recommend taking a long drive through the Peaks or on the nearby, aptly named Highway of Legends!

With a setting like the Spanish Peaks comes ample opportunity for hiking, cross-country skiing, and the like! It isn't just the Spanish Peaks that offer recreational opportunities, as Walsenburg is also the home of Lathrop State Park, with its golf course, campground, and beautiful Martin Lake.
