Maroon Bells In Colorado Was Named One Of The 50 Most Beautiful Places In The World
If you live in Colorado, you know that nearly every inch of the state is a work of art, but when one of our attractions makes a list of world-famous landmarks, you know we have to take notice! In this case, it is the beautiful Maroon Bells that are being noticed, and we could not agree more:
Located in Aspen, the Maroon Bells are one of the most jaw-dropping and most photographed places in Colorado, earning them a spot on PureWow's list of the
50 Most Beautiful Places on the Planet.
Coming in at #37, PureWow pays homage to this iconic Colorado spot by giving a brief synopsis of the area, noting that the "Maroon Bells are twin peaks in Aspen’s Elk Mountains, separated by a glacial lake and surrounded by national forest. Swoon."
While twin peaks are nothing new to Colorado, Maroon Bells is a real diamond in the rough, thanks to both our pristine skies and the area's majestic landscape.

Please note: While hiking to the Maroon Bells is free, there is a small fee for parking, which varies from $5 to $20 on weekdays and $10 to $25 on the weekends.
