If a restaurant has been around for several generations (or, in this case, 150+ years), you know it has to be good. When it comes to the Forks Mercantile in Livermore, Colorado, it is not only delicious but also intertwined with the community, which you will sense from the moment you step inside:
Established in 1875, the Forks Mercantile and Saloon is your one-stop shop for fascinating history, delicious food and drink, and much more!
Named for the fork in the road at Red Feather Lakes and Laramie Roads, the Fork was established as a stop for the stage line and, at its inception, offered food and lodging, plus a dance hall, church, and post office.
While many things have changed through the years, a few of the Forks' staples remain, including its homecooked food, a la appetizers, salads, burgers, and hearty entrees.
In addition to the restaurant, the Fork also boasts a downright tasty deli (breakfast sandwich and/or a toasted PB&J, anyone?) and a full espresso bar!
