Colorado is home to some of the more majestic landscapes in the country, and whether it be the prairies or the mountains, there is always something special around the corner! The Colorow Mountain Forest Loop is located just outside Golden, CO, which is, itself, near Denver. This is a fairly popular trail, and being just 1.6 miles long, it’s accessible to hikers of all skill levels. If you find yourself in the area and want to get away from the city, this is the perfect place to get a breath of fresh air!

Located just 18 minutes from the city, the Colorow Mountain Forest Loop provides a nice day trip to enjoy a leisurely walk through nature.

As much as Colorado has to offer, this trail seems pretty lowkey, but that’s not always a bad thing! The serene forest and grand overlook offer a great reason to stop by for a visit.
