The Easy 1.6-Mile Colorow Mountain Forest Loop Will Lead You Through The Colorado Forest

Colorado is home to some of the more majestic landscapes in the country, and whether it be the prairies or the mountains, there is always something special around the corner! The Colorow Mountain Forest Loop is located just outside Golden, CO, which is, itself, near Denver. This is a fairly popular trail, and being just 1.6 miles long, it’s accessible to hikers of all skill levels. If you find yourself in the area and want to get away from the city, this is the perfect place to get a breath of fresh air!

As much as Colorado has to offer, this trail seems pretty lowkey, but that’s not always a bad thing! The serene forest and grand overlook offer a great reason to stop by for a visit. It’s also not too far away from Lookout Mountain, which is also worth the trip if you want a bird’s-eye view of the city. Have you visited this trail? We would love to hear your thoughts and experiences!
