If You Didn’t Know About These 5 Swimming Holes In Colorado, They’re A Must Visit
There is no better way to make a big “splash” this summer than by cooling off in a pool… but do you want to know what is even more epic? Cooling off in one of these 5 memorable swimming holes located throughout Colorado!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

It may be a bit of a hike (literally) to reach both the Cascade Creek waterfalls and swimming areas, but according to those who have made the trek, it is beyond worth it!

Whether you prefer to swim fully clothed (pictured) or in your swimsuit, these Colorado Springs area swimming holes are the perfect place to cool down.

Go figure that a magical and unexpected Colorado location like the Great Sand Dunes would also house a magical and unexpected body of water in which to splash around and play.

One of Colorado's most popular swimming holes is also one of the best places in Colorado to practice your cliff diving skills! (Aside from Casa Bonita, of course...)

Last but certainly not least is that of Paradise (or Guffey) Cove, which is a popular spot in the summer for locals to both cool off and test their diving skills.
