These 10 Restaurants In Colorado Have Fries So Good You Can’t Handle It
Let’s face it: After a long day of classes or work, there is nothing better than kicking back with a beer and a plate of deep fried potato perfection. Lucky for us Coloradoans, there are several restaurants that have perfected this side dish, including:
1. Cherry Cricket (Denver)
Confession: I'm a HUGE ranch eater and love to dip my fries into the creamy perfection. At Cherry Cricket, I couldn't even bring myself to dip because it would have taken away from the delicious taste of the bare fries--they were THAT good.
2. CP Burger (Aspen)
Parmesan truffle fries. Enough said.
3. Cy’s Drive-In Restaurant (Colorado Springs)
Words of advice: whenever you come upon a hole-in-the-wall establishment, stop in, stay awhile, and enjoy the greatest food you'll ever taste. Cy's burgers and fries are the epitome of hole-in-the-wall goodness!
4. Sagebrush Barbque & Grill (Grand Lake)
No matter how they cook it (mashed, baked, etc.), your potato at Sagebrush is guaranteed to be epic--but their fries are truly out of this world!
5. Bad Daddy's Burger Bar (Northglenn)
The regular fries are heavenly; the sweet potato fries divine...and the sauce? Don't even get me started on that tasty dipping sauce!
6. Manneken Frites (Arvada)
Please note, Manneken Frites has permanently closed.
Authentic Belgian style fries (or "frites") that will ruin you for life...It sounds harsh, but trust me; it's totally worth it!
7. Edgewater Brewery (Grand Junction)
Your eyes do not deceive you; that is in fact a delicious plate of fries smothered in pork chili and topped with melted cheese...No biggie.
8. Back Door Grill (Steamboat Springs)
After a long day on the slopes, nothing beats a Back Door burger and fries! #perfection
9. J.B.'s Drive-In (Greeley)
J.B.'s is the poster child for the way fries should be; crispy and perfectly seasoned!
10. Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen (Denver)
Please note, Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen has permanently closed.
I have never tried duck poutine, (duck confit, cheddar curds and black pepper duck gravy) but I'm willing to give it a taste. Euclid's has the best this side of the border!
