Colorado is a true winter wonderland during the holiday season. If you are looking for some wintertime fun, check out these things to do in Colorado at Christmas:

  • Blossoms of Light, Denver, CO: The Denver Botanic Gardens is a pretty special place to enjoy a little nature in the heart of the city. When Christmas time rolls around it takes on a new level of wonder and amazement. Starting in mid-November and running through the first week of January, the Blossoms of Light event blossoms into a magical world of light and color. Walk along the 24 acres of light-filled paths, glowing trees, and spectacular light installations. It will take your breath away.
  • Chapungu Sculpture Park, Loveland, CO: Another wonderful event in Colorado over the holidays is the light show at the Chapungu Sculpture Park. There are more than 80 stone sculptures over 26 acres of land that transform into a new form of artwork when they are decked to the halls with holiday lights. There is even a 20-foot-tall Christmas tree that stands like a beacon calling guests to stare in wonder. This free event tops up your Christmas spirit with a light and music show every 30 minutes. The event runs from mid-November until January 1.
  • Christmas lights road trip, Denver, CO: If you really love drive-thru light shows and exploring neighborhood displays, you'll get a kick out of this magnificent pre-planned road trip to many of the best places to see holiday lights in the Denver area.
