Hiking trails that combine beautiful views with history are always interesting. We’ve got one right here in Arkansas for you! The Williams Hollow Trail at Pea Ridge National Military Park is a 2.7 mile loop trail that has historical significance as the site of the 1862 Battle of Pea Ridge. The event was one of the most monumental western battles of the Civil War, and is notable for saving Missouri for the Union.
