Arkansas’ Favorite Riverfront Restaurant In The Middle Of Nowhere Has Just Reopened For The Season
Springtime has been teasing its arrival in the natural state. Fingers crossed that the recent weather has rained out any more cold snaps and Arkansas can blossom into its full forested glory. One way to celebrate the new season is with a trip to the Mulberry Riverfront Restaurant, the featured eatery of Byrd’s Adventure Center in Ozark. The restaurant just opened for the 2018 season and we’re ready to have a bite.

People are stampeding to Byrd's Adventure Center for a chance to dine at this unique eatery.

If you're driving in, the restaurant is at 7037 Cass Oark Road in Ozark.

The riverfront restaurant sits on the Mulberry and welcomes kayaks, canoes, and rafts.

Byrd’s features two grass runways along the Mulberry River. One strip is geared towards single-engine airplanes. The shorter strip is perfect for powered parachutes or trikes.

The view is just lovely.

You can't go wrong with any of their trout, catfish, chicken, smoked meat, burger, or sandwich entrees. Join them for breakfast, too! Top off your meal with one of their homemade desserts (our favorite is their possum pie).

Good thing Byrd's has cabin lodging for large groups or just a couple's retreat.

It's nearly impossible to list all the adventures Byrd's has to offer. Play on the river, go off-roading or take a class to perfect your rock climbing. Byrd's hosts educational clinics from raft safety to hang-gliding aerotows. There's also music festivals in the area throughout the year.

They're open Fri-Sat 8 AM - 9 PM (they close at 6 PM on Sundays).
