The Charming Town In Arkansas That’s Perfect For Putting Down Roots
Residents of Arkansas can attest to the fact that it’s difficult to call anywhere else in the world home. One small town, El Dorado, goes so far as to invest in keeping its residents happy. In 2009, the town was voted “America’s Best Downtown” and today, the city is investing nearly $100 million to completely revitalize the town.
Let’s take a look at the incredible transformation underway:

El Dorado was once among the wealthiest towns in America. During the 1920s, the town experienced economic prosperity resulting from an oil boom. Folks from all over moved to the small town. By 2010, however, the town had lost thousands of residents.

Officials are hoping to improve the quality of life for residents of this vibrant town. In fact, the former president of Marvel Comics has been specially appointed to oversee the revitalization.

The town will host major artists such as Brad Paisley, ZZ Top, Train, and Smoky Robinson in a brand new amphitheater that can accommodate 8,000.

The 1929 Rialto Theatre will receive a major makeover to incorporate a massive art gallery and new exhibit spaces.

No longer will prospective visitors leave El Dorado after a quick visit -- they'll be tempted to establish lifelong roots there!
