Every March state locals celebrate Arkansas Archeology Month. State parks, schools, and museums around the state have hosted all sorts of archeology-themed events this month. The event you definitely don’t want to miss will be this Saturday. The University of Arkansas Museum will be open to the public on March 30th, 2019. This is quite a rare opportunity, so be sure to mark your calendar!

However, this spectacular museum will be open to the public as a way to celebrate the month of archeology on March 30th, 2019 from 11:30 am till 2 pm. The museum is located at 2475 N Hatch Ave., Fayetteville, AR 72704.
Typically the museum is just open for educational purposes and by appointment only.

The dinosaur was believed to have roamed between 100-140 million years ago. The remains were found near Locksburg in 1972 and the original bones are now at this museum.
