Hike The Spadra Trail In Arkansas For A Family-Fun Outing
It’s always a nice surprise to find an inner city oasis in the midst of the hustle and bustle. Two trails make up a gorgeous loop around Spadra Creek in Clarksville. The Spadra and Scout Trails are perfect for a family-friendly day trip! Let’s pack a picnic and head to this lovely nature walk.

As the weather continues to cool down and the sweltering finally subsides, you don't need much of an excuse to get out and explore the Natural State. One easy day trip that's family-friendly is the nature trail around Spadra Creek.

The Spadra Trail is paved and the Scout is not. Both are lovely strolls without much elevation gain. Together the trails are 2.6-miles long.

Part of Spadra Creek's charm are all the footbridges. This particular bridge was constructed by Vincennes Bridge Company in 1907!

The iron bridge along the trail is also a put-in point for floaters. For the list of put-in/take-out points along the creek, visit this site. Fishing along the creek is also popular, especially if you'd rather stay stationary.

Bring your family, dog, or just a camera to enjoy this lovely little trail.
