You May Not Be Able To Pick-Your-Own This Year But Arkansas Farmers Have A Socially-Safe Solution
The quarantine may have put a damper on pick-your-own strawberries but Arkansas’ farmers have created a socially-distant solution. As a work-around, some farms are now providing drive-thru services instead. These three farms are just some of the ones offering drive-thrus. Be sure to check with your favorite local farm to see if they’re doing it too!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
Is your favorite local farm also offering a drive-thru market? Be sure to tag them in the comments below!
Some other quarantine activities, or quarantivies if you will, are couch-friendly livestreams from the zoo and tiger sanctuary.
