Quite a few holiday trains have popped up around Arkansas but the Children’s Christmas Train event in Springdale is something special. Get ready to meet Santa, play reindeer games, and have that warm fuzzy feeling knowing that all the money raised will help provide services for abused children. All aboard the train of good causes!
It's nearly time for the 14th Annual Children's Christmas Train.
Saturday, Dec. 2nd, 2017 is your chance to have some family fun and help a good cause.
The event begins with a 40-minute train ride filled with festivities.
The train will leave from the Emma Street Train Depot in Downtown Springdale and head to Johnson and back.
Santa will be making a special stop to visit train goers.
The train ride will also have festive activities such as caroling and storytelling.
The fun won't stop after arriving back at the station.
Your family will have the chance to write letters to Santa among other activities.
There'll be a cake walk...
Santa's village will have live music.
...a chance to operate a train...
Albeit a bit smaller than the one you just rode.
...and "reindeer rides."
Don't tell them otherwise. They have dreams you know.
Besides having a festive time, you can feel good knowing you're helping others.
The Children’s Christmas Train is a fundraiser for the Children’s Safety Center of Washington County. The center provides services for abused children.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for ages 3-12, and free for little lap sitters.
