But those who aren’t initiated well with the Natural State may not know the huge amount of Mexican cuisine that has influenced Arkansas over the past two decades, changing local culture and native tastes. Since when are these two delicacies considered "just" side items? When served right (as many Arkansas natives do), you can make a great meal out of cornbread and beans. The dish itself has become popular in a number of Arkansas restaurants.
