Today’s little eatery is the perfect fill up if you’ve been spending some alone time along the Saline River or ventured to the isolated Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge. Although the friendly atmosphere and down-home cookin' would make you believe this place has been open for generations, the Country Store has only been open since 2017.
It's hard to beat a classic burger and fry, and Johnsville knows how to do them right! Even the Double Jumbo stays under $7 for a wallet-friendly fill up. Don't forget to add bacon for two quarters more.
Stick with one or the other with either a fried catfish basket or the smoked chops. Feast on the best of both worlds with their steak and grilled shrimp, served with a jacket potato, salad, and toast.
