Drive Through Millions Of Lights At Finney’s Christmas Wonderland Holiday Display In Arkansas
Strolling around city squares during the holidays is always festive but nothing compares to seeing the hard work from a family Christmas display. Along the southeastern edge of the state one family outshines just about every other holiday display in Arkansas. Let’s drive down to Crossett and see what magic the Finney family has created.

Most of us feel satisfied with a few strings along the roof-line but not this family. Since 1985 Sam Finney has steadily grown his light display into a spectacular drive through show. The lights are on every night from Thanksgiving until New Year's Eve.

This full family affair takes weeks of preparation but never ceases to amaze. The million+ lights use over 20,000-ft. of cord and illuminate both sides of the property's road.

Sam has made about 80% of the wonderland's pieces. With every blink you'll notice something different from the 14-foot merry-go-round to the miniature train chugging along. A myriad of blowups, cut-outs, animation boards, and even bubble machines are all used in creating this impressive display.

In 2015 the Finneys won "The Great Christmas Light Fight" and earned $50,000 (as well as bragging rights). They beat families from Washington, Ohio, and California!

The drive-thru is free but donations are encouraged. The family also sells shirts to raise money for the lights as well. You can learn more about this display by following their Facebook Page.
We would love to hear about your favorite Finney display in the comments below! Before the year ends you should also drive to one of these displays or stroll around this dazzling garden.
