The Magical Christmas Elf Village In Arkansas Where Everyone Is A Kid Again
Arkansas has quite a few
places that capture the magic of the holidays. One more to add to your list is this spectacular indoor attraction. Everyone feels like a kid at Fort Smith’s Christmas Winter Wonderland. Visit the elf village, have story time with Mrs. Claus, and explore Rudolph’s forest.
If you'd rather not depend on Arkansas' crazy weather to stay normal for a weekend, take a trip to this indoor Christmas wonderland.
The Christmas Winter Wonderland is simply magical for all that attend. Kids will have a blast exploring the different rooms and parents can enjoy staying indoors. You’ll find Christmas Winter Wonderland at 7300 Wells Lake Rd., Fort Smith, AR 72916.
The main attraction at the Wonderland is the walk-through light and display show but it's certainly not the only reason to come visit.
The historic building in Chaffee Crossing has over 20,000 sq. ft. that's completely wall-to-wall with activities and displays. Over 30 festive scenes are scattered throughout the attraction.
The rooms upstairs all have different themes to enjoy.
Walk through a classic Christmas nativity scene before heading into a retro Coca-cola room. A red, white, and blue veteran room, an icy-looking Disney princess room, and 1950s Christmas (fitted with an aluminium tree, of course) are just some of the other themed rooms to look through. Parents and grandparents of every decade will be able to relive their childhood holiday memories.
Different special guests like to visit the Christmas Winter Wonderland, too.
Barbie and Ken, Elsa and Anna, and even some
Despicable Me minions like to make appearances at the Wonderland. Be sure to follow their Facebook Page to see which other characters will be stopping by before you plan your trip.
The biggest stars, Mr. and Mrs. Claus will also be in attendance.
Photos with Santa will be available every night and kids can join Mrs. Claus for story time featuring different Christmas classics. You can also pop into Santa's workshop to see dozens of elves working hard on making presents.
You may be bringing your children to enjoy the experience, but everyone will feel like a kid when they're at the Christmas Winter Wonderland.
Children's tickets are $15 and include a photo with Santa, a take-home craft from the elves, story time with Mrs. Claus, a cookie from her bakery, and a train ride. Adult tickets are $5 and include a cookie. The Wonderland is open Fridays 5 - 9 pm, Saturdays 4 - 9 pm, and Sundays 3 - 7 pm.
