What are the best holiday events in Arkansas?
From unique shopping events to dazzling holiday displays, Arkansas plays host to countless holiday events that are perfect additions to your holiday plans. Christmas at the Park in Jonesboro features over 350,000 lights including nearly 400 displays that’s certainly a sight to see, and the best part is that you never have to leave you car to see this enchanting drive-thru display. If you’re in Camden, you can take a whimsical carriage ride through the beautiful downtown area, checking out all of the twinkling lights and even a live nativity display. Kids will especially enjoy the light displays at the Mid-America Science Museum with their annual Dino-Lites display.

Winter in Arkansas doesn’t mean you have to be cooped up indoors. If you’re bundled up, you can embark on amazing adventures that will allow you to see Arkansas in a whole new light. How much snowfall does Arkansas get each year?
Different areas of Arkansas receive vastly different snowfall amounts. The highest snowfall totals occur in January, with the state averaging 2.5 inches for the month. Little Rock sees roughly 5 inches of snowfall per season, with more snow occurring in the higher elevation portions of the state including the Ozarks.
