7 Drive-Thru Christmas Lights Displays In Arkansas The Whole Family Can Enjoy
One of the most beloved holiday traditions any family can have is driving through a magical light display or two. Towns all throughout Arkansas will be lit up this year with even bigger displays than last time. In no particular order let’s hop around the state to see what magnificent light shows await this holiday season!
1. Enchanted Forest Trail of Lights - Sherwood
Beginning the Monday after Thanksgiving families can drive through the enchanted forest of Sherwood. This light trail has over a mile of twinkling holiday scenes! Admission is free (donations are encouraged) and guests will receive a free candy cane, too.
2. Fantasy in Lights - Jacksonville
The entire town of Jacksonville lights up for the holidays as part of their Fantasy in Light decorating contest. Any business or home can participate in this Griswold-inspired competition. Drive around town and vote for your favorite before judging on Dec. 17th, 2019. The town has tons of other festivities throughout the month that you can see by visiting Jacksonville's
3. Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends - Pine Bluff
For 23 years, the Pine Bluff Festival Association has put on Arkansas' most shining holiday event. The Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends is a mile and a half drive-thru light show which makes it the state's largest light display of its kind! Along the drive you'll pass nearly 300 different holiday scenes as well as a memorial for our veterans. The trail is free (donations are encouraged) and zigzags all through the Jefferson County Regional Park.
4. Lights of the Delta - Blytheville
Another whopping light display can be found shining brightly in the far northeast corner of the state. Blytheville's Lights of the Delta boosts over six millions lights spread out along a mile and a half of trail. Admission to the show is $10/vehicle. The park has quite a few activities in addition to the light show including photos with Santa. Visit their

5. Hodo Family Light Show - Van Buren
It may not be a mile long trail but be assured, your jaw will drop when you see this family's decorations! The Hodos completely cover their yard and house in a stunning multi-scene display. Every time you drive by you'll spot something new from the caged Grinch to the American flag waving on the roof. Kids can drop off their letters to Santa here as well! The drive-by is free (though donations are encouraged) and will be open beginning on Thanksgiving.
6. White River Wonderland - Batesville
It's impossible to pick the best light show since each city's display is so different but Batesville's White River Wonderland may be our favorite. In addition to driving by the million and half lights you can also enjoy other holiday activities like ice skating, train tours, and carriage rides! The lights are up at all four of Batesville's parks but the other festivities are in the Riverside Park. For more information you can follow the event's
7. Lights of the Ozarks - Fayetteville
Much like the White River Wonderland, Fayetteville's light display is much more than a drive-by. You can certainly enjoy the lights while driving around the square but the best part is getting out and strolling under the twinkling trees. The square is packed with over 400,000 lights and has all sorts of to-dos. Sip on chocolate while devouring some indulgent food truck desserts before taking a carriage ride around the square. Kids can also ride the ponies and meet Santa! For more information about the event visit Experience Fayetteville's website
