It was built in 1899 as one of the six bridges in Little Rock. The Rock Island Railroad Bridge was remodeled to fit pedestrian and cyclists' needs in 2011. It's located behind the Clinton Presidential Center at 1200 President Clinton Ave., Little Rock, AR 72201.
The Clinton Presidential Park Bridge is the starting point for the Arkansas River Trail, a 21.5-mile (and counting) loop between Little rock and North Little Rock. The southern segment is an easy 2-mile trek that makes a great family day trip.
