As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
There’s no doubt that the Buffalo National River is the ultimate spot for an Arkansas adventure. Stay and play at the Buffalo Outdoor Center (BOC) for the perfect getaway. This beloved outfitter offers so much more than just canoe rentals. Let’s head to the Upper Buffalo National River to see how many ways we can enjoy the river with the BOC.

The BOC has been outfitting family trips to the Buffalo since 1976. They may not be your typical all-inclusive resort but they do have everything you'll need for the perfect Arkansas getaway.

The BOC has plenty of one- or multi-day float trips mapped out as well as canoes, kayaks, and rafts. They can also shuttle you back to your put-in point.

The BOC has cabins located deep in the forest or alongside the river. They also have cabins suitable for romantic getaways or family-based adventures. If you've brought your own cabin, you can stay at their RV park instead.

Lost Valley, Hemmed-In Hollow, and Twin Falls are some of the big name waterfalls in the area. Though keep in mind, they're certainly not the only ones to discover.

Mountain biking, rock climbing, or zip lining are just some of the choices for the thrill seekers. The zip line is our favorite since it's a two-hour tour of through the wilderness. It's pretty spectacular!

Every season is the perfect time for a trip to the Buffalo River so be sure to visit the BOC's website to plan your itinerary.
