The Snowbowl Gondola In Arizona Will Take You Through A Snowy Mountain Wonderland
We couldn’t speak highly enough of the Snowbowl gondola during fall, but it’s equally – if not more – beautiful in the winter. Take a ride up the slopes surrounded by aspen trees entirely covered in snow and see Arizona in a whole new way.
When we think of the Snowbowl gondola, a scene like this is typically what first comes up: a frigid, harsh, and monochromatic landscape. All of those adjectives are technically true, but winter on the slopes is also undeniably beautiful.
After a short hike, you'll come upon the ski lift. Jump in and get ready to ascend more than 11,000 feet in the air, taking in views of not only the magical winter scenery but also Sedona's iconic red rocks and even the Grand Canyon.
Sunset is the only thing that could possibly make this view any better. When the sky erupts in a striking display of colors, it only serves to enhance an already spellbinding scene.
As our governing star makes its way below the horizon, you too will descend back onto level ground. Pastel streaks reflect off the snowy ground, creating a picture-perfect vista you have to see to believe.
It's truly like living inside of a snowglobe. With a thick white blanket extending in all directions, this is truly the definition of a winter wonderland.
