Of Carefree’s 3,500 people, 37% have a Bachelor’s degree. That means nearly 2/5 of the population is college-educated, making this one of the smartest cities in Arizona.
2. Tonto National Forest
Tonto National Forest has a population of 9,000, 34% of whom graduated college. Over 3,000 people in the city have a degree!
33% of Scottsdale’s 225,000 residents have a four-year education and more than 75,000 residents earned their Bachelor’s degree. That’s quite impressive for a city of its size!
4. Paradise Valley
Of Paradise Valley’s 13,000 people, 32% have a Bachelor’s degree. That means nearly 1/3 of the population is college-educated.
Anthem has a population of 23,000 with a college graduation rate of 31%. Over 7,000 people in the city have a degree!
6. Catalina Foothills
30% of Catalina Foothills’ 51,000 people have a four-year degree. More than 15,000 residents earned their Bachelor’s degree.
7. Village of Oak Creek
The Village of Oak Creek is only home to about 6,000 people, but 30% have a Bachelor’s degree.
8. Pima County
Rincon Valley in Pima County has a population of 5,000, over 1,500 of whom graduated with a college degree. That’s 30%!
9. Oro Valley
29% of Oro Valley’s 42,000 people have a four-year college education; more than 12,000 residents have earned a Bachelor’s degree.
10. Fountain Hills
Of Fountain Hills’ 23,000 people, 28% have a Bachelor’s degree. That means over a quarter of the population is college-educated.
Sedona has a population of 10,000, with nearly 3,000 (28%) college graduates.
