Ever wondered what it would be like to live in the Middle Ages? The Arizona Renaissance Festival, returning for its 32nd year of fun and festivities in February, is your chance to experience the iconic era firsthand. With jousting matches, rides and games, live entertainment, and so much more, it’s the most magical thing you’ll do all winter.
Tickets go on sale September 1 for the 32nd annual Arizona Renaissance Festival, which will take place rain or shine from February 5 until April 3, 2022.
With a 50-acre village, 16 stages, arts and crafts, jousting tournaments, and feasts fit for a king, you'll feel like medieval royalty at this enchanting, two-month-long celebration on East US Highway 60 in Gold Canyon.
Jousting tournaments take place three times per day in the 5,000-seat arena: noon, 2:15 p.m., and 5:00 p.m.
First up is the Princess' Joust, followed by the Prince's Joust, and, finally, the Joust to the Death. Cheer for your favorite knight until a winner is crowned, then say hi to the champion and his horse after the competition.
