These 8 Waterparks Near Phoenix Are Going To Make Your Summer AWESOME
Arizona is home to many great waterparks, especially within the Phoenix area. Water slides, wave pools, lazy rivers and splash zones are the main attractions at these Phoenix-area waterparks. Listed below are eight of the greatest waterparks that are located in, or near, Phoenix.

1. Oasis Water Park
According to the Travel Channel, Oasis Water Park is one of the country's Top 10 Waterparks. This 7-acre waterpark features an 8-story tower with three water slides, a wave pool, a 25-person hot tub and so much more. 2. Golfland Sunsplash
Golfland Sunsplash is a great summer destination for the entire family. It features more than 30 attractions, including a wave pool, lazy river and water slides. Golfland Sunsplash is located at 155 W Hampton Ave, Mesa, AZ 85210.
3. Hamilton Aquatic Center
This community waterpark is one of the very best! It features a competition pool, two water slides, a lazy river and multiple recreational areas. Hamilton Aquatic Center is located at 3838 S Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85248.
4. Surprise Aquatic Center
Surprise Aquatic Center is a great community center for the entire family. It features two water slides, a competition pool, a diving well, etc. Surprise Aquatic Center is located at 15831 N Bullard Ave, Surprise, AZ 85374.
5. Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix
This 35-acre waterpark is Arizona's largest theme park. A few of its thrill rides include Tornado, Phoenix Flyers and Mammoth Falls. Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix is located at 4243 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Glendale, AZ 85310.
6. Big Surf Waterpark
Big Surf Waterpark opened in 1969 and claims to have built America's first wave pool, Waikiki Beach Wave Pool. Other than Waikiki Beach Wave Pool, this amazing waterpark also features Bora Bora Bay, Hurricane Slides, The Black Hole and Tahitan Twisters. 7. Buckeye Aquatics Center
Buckeye Aquatics Center is a great place to spend a summer day. A couple of its main features include a 10-foot high dive and a 160-foot water slide. Buckeye Aquatics Center is located at 207 N 9th St, Buckeye, AZ 85326.
8. Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center
Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center is Chandler's newest public aquatics facility. A few of its features include a lazy river, toddler water slides, two adult water slides and a competition pool. Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center is located at 5901 S Hillcrest Dr, Chandler, AZ 85249.
