Because the bridge was unable to handle the weight of London's cars, the English government auctioned it off to the highest bidder. But don't fret about its structural integrity! When the bridge moved to Lake Havasu City, workers reinforced it with concrete.

One particular legend is especially bone-chilling. During the bridge's dedication ceremony in 1971, one woman reportedly saw four men dressed in old-fashioned garb. At first she believed they were part of the festivities, but when she glanced back again the spectral images vanished before her eyes.

If you hear a bloodcurdling scream, it could belong to the ghost of a 19th-century Englishman.

When the ghost experts visited the structure, they concluded that skeletons could be buried within the walls.
