The Garden Cafe is a gem of a restaurant in Arizona. It's also historic as it was first opened in 1887 by E.F. Sanguinetti. It has remained in the same family for four generations now.

This open-air restaurant is enchanting, to say the least, With its brick path, you'll be led from the street through a gate and garden until you arrive in the outdoor dining area. It's as pretty as a picture here!

Sit down at a table surrounded by greenery and flowers. This is like a secret garden restaurant you'll absolutely fall in love with!

Aside from the ambiance, the food here is delicious and served in generous portions. For breakfast, options include Swedish oatmeal pancakes, turkey scramble, and tri-tip steak and eggs. On Sundays, brunch is available between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

For lunch, you can't go wrong with one of The Garden Cafe's homemade soups. Try the tortilla soup topped with sour cream, avocado, Jack cheese, chips, and scallions. Served with a homemade tortilla and a side of black or pinto beans, its comfort food at its finest.

Other lunch options include a variety of sandwiches, burritos, homemade quiches, and salads. There's also a kids menu available if you decide to bring the whole family.

The Garden Cafe is located at 250 S Madison Ave. in Yuma, AZ. It's open seasonally from October through May for breakfast and lunch, and it's closed on Mondays.
