This Beautiful 140-Acre Botanical Garden In Arizona Is A Sight To Be Seen

Spring has fully sprung, which means the weather is ideal for exploring Arizona’s beautiful desert landscape. We’ve found the perfect place to do just that: Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix. This 140-acre arboretum boasts over 50,000 plants, many of which are rare or endangered. With a gift shop, library, and two restaurants, it promises a fun-filled day for the entire family.

Spanning over 140 acres, the Desert Botanical Garden is proof that more than dust and tumbleweeds can be found on Arizona soil.

Boasting over 50,000 plants throughout a vast array of perfectly-curated outdoor exhibits, this magical place is a destination worthy of a spot on your bucket list.

Five scenic trails wind through the landscape, each offering a unique and different perspective. Whether you like wildflowers or cacti, there's a hike here for everyone.

Over 4,000 species can be seen at Desert Botanical Garden, 379 of which are rare and/or endangered.

Special exhibits are held throughout the year, so there's always something new to see.

From Electric Desert (pictured) to Flashlight Nights, you can even find fun after dark.

And, in typical Arizona fashion, the garden is even more magical at sunset.

The Saguaro silhouettes illuminated by a vibrant sunset sky is a sight everyone should bear witness to at least once.
