Cathedral Rock Trail In Arizona Is Full Of Awe-Inspiring Rock Formations
In the Coconino National Forest of Arizona you’ll find many beautiful landscapes with breathtaking views. The Cathedral Rock Trail is no exception. There are many interesting rock formations you’ll see as you hike up to the top. Located near Sedona, these red rocks will inspire you to explore more of the area.

The trail is rated as moderate and is usually quite busy throughout the year.

You want good hiking shoes as some areas are steep. The elevation gain on trail is about 740 feet.

This tree is one example of the unique plant life that lives in the Sedona area.

Their interesting formations look extra pretty when the sun is shining down on them.

This is a great hike especially if you are interested in geology.

There are two small lots at the trailhead and street parking as well.

Take a moment to look out at the landscape and admire the rock formation. It's about 400 feet tall!

This is a hike that is worth the climb! Bring your friends along and enjoy the unique landscape.
