Canyon Diablo is one of the many haunted small towns you’ll find in Arizona. Located on the Navajo Reservation in Coconino County, this ghost town is in one of the best-kept conditions in the state.

Residents came to Canyon Diablo to build a bridge that spanned the nearby canyon (of the same name). When bridge construction was delayed, the town became a scene that attracted many colorful characters who enjoyed the bars, brothels, and casinos that popped up to keep everyone entertained.

Perhaps the most haunting thing about Canyon Diablo is that a cemetery located just outside the town was created for all those who died violently in the town. And since the town didn’t have any policing, crime, and violence were rampant in Canyon Diablo.
