These 9 Houses In Arizona Go All Out With Halloween Decorations Every Year
Driving around to look at Christmas lights is an age-old American pastime… but let’s not forget about Halloween! Just as many people adorn their front lawns with pumpkins and skeletons as they do Christmas trees and nativity scenes. These are nine of the best neighborhood Halloween decorations and home haunts in Arizona that promise to give you a thrill. Some of them are drive-by displays, while others are full-blown walkthrough haunted houses. Prepare for a scare!
For nearly four decades, this home haunt has been scaring the daylights out of Valley residents. There are nights with and without actors to accommodate families and those who like their haunted houses a bit less scary.

No two years are exactly the same at Terror Nights, so you never quite know what to expect. One thing, however, is always certain: this walk-through residential haunt is full of thrills and chills, including characters from famous horror films.

4. The Nightmare Before Christmas at Halloween, Phoenix
Tim Burton fans, this one's for you! Enter the weird and whimsical world of The Nightmare Before Christmas when you visit this outdoor display complete with Jack, Sally, and even singing pumpkins!
This impressive yard haunt is Halloween in a nutshell. Shrouded in an eerie fog and featuring a gaggle of ghouls, goblins, and other ghastly figures, this display will become one of your go-to spots to drive by each year.
Another walk-through setup, Hellbilly Holler is devoid of jump scares... but it still isn't for the faint of heart. This twisted scene looks like something out of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, with grisly displays such as killer hillbillies and cannibals.
If you like to be scared, look no further than Terror in Tolleson. While no longer a home haunt, this family-run attraction is too epic to leave off the list. The attraction - which recently outgrew its original venue (the front lawn of a private residence) - features over 46,000 square feet of pure horror, with four separate themed areas that each promise to make your heart pound in fear.

Another The Nightmare Before Christmas-inspired display, this family-friendly façade boasts over 100,000 lights and handmade decorations. You'll see Zero, Oogie Boogie's lair, and even a projection screen showing the film!
Last - but certainly not the least spooky - The House of Haunts is equal parts Halloween display and walk-through haunted house. Established in 1983, the elaborate scene features everything from a synchronized thunder and lightning show to animated props to realistic special effects. A fair warning: it's intense, so prepare to be scared!
