I don’t know about you, but when the temperatures dip in the winter, there’s no better way to spend a weekend than with someone you can snuggle up with. If you want to make that time a little extra special, then a romantic weekend getaway sounds just right. So pack your bags, grab your favorite winter travel essentials, book a room, make sure your sweetie has the weekend off, and get ready to have a wonderful time!

There's plenty of areas around the state that could easily fit a definition of romantic but our favorite is definitely Sedona.

Plus, it helps that Sedona is a little quieter in the winter and the landscape looks stunning when coated with snow.

As for day time activities, it all depends on what your definition of "romantic" looks like. For some, it might include a winter hike.
