Here’s The Perfect Weekend Itinerary If You Love Exploring Arizona’s Waterfalls
Not sure what to do during your next free weekend? If you’re itching to do some traveling and want to get out into nature but unsure where to get started, then this may be just the trip for you!
Arizona isn’t particularly well-known for waterfalls but the few that we do have are beautiful. If you haven’t had the opportunity to see them, then pack up an overnight bag, some snacks, and get ready for a fun ride. This road trip is a total of 318 miles, about 7 total hours of driving and is perfect once the temperatures start to warm up. Many of the waterfalls are seasonal or accessed only during the warmer months, so check the notes for details. There is also some degree of walking or hiking involved, so be sure to pack appropriate shoes!
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
