To me, Arizona is paradise. Sure, it can get hot, dusty and plenty of things here can kill you, but there’s no other place I’d rather live. And I think, in a way, Arizona ruins any attempt to live elsewhere. How so? Here are 10 examples that show just how much we Zonies love and appreciate our home state:

1. So many other places in the country can feel so cramped and closed in, but even our cities feel pretty spacious.

2. You'll have a hard time complaining about the heat just about anywhere else.

3. Humidity anywhere else is just unbearable though.

4. Outside of the Southwest in general, you'll have a difficult time finding delicious Mexican food.

5. Plan on owning your own business? Arizona makes the process and ownership easier than many other states.

6. Finding amazing landscapes like ours will be a difficult feat.

7. Where else would you want to watch the sun rise or set?

8. By the way, where else will you find a javelina trying to hang out with your cat?
