The Arizona Park That Will Make You Feel Like You Walked Into A Fairy Tale
We all know Arizona is brimming with breathtaking beauty and plenty of these places are easily accessible. Some places are absolutely surreal, looking like something you would expect to find in a fictional world. Well, we’re going to take a look at one Arizona location that we think could double for a desert version of a fairytale land.
This is Red Rock State Park, a strikingly beautiful nature preserve and state park located in Sedona. The park covers 286 acres of hills, buttes, meadows, and the flowing Oak Creek.
While most people may think of a place like Germany’s dense Black Forest as the prime location for fairy tales. However, we think the combination of lush riparian areas and desert vistas makes this location a perfect setting for mythical stories.
The state park features plenty of fun things to do besides thinking up fairy tales. The park boasts a number of trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. You can even spend time watching wildlife and enjoy scheduled events like guided hikes and lectures.
