Life in Arizona is both amazing and unique. This state has some of the hottest summers in the country and still manages to get ample snowfall in the winter months. Our spring season starts a couple months sooner than other areas of the country, we get wild storms in the summer, and the yellowing leaves of fall look absolutely incredible against red rock buttes. With all of that comes unique—and possibly weird—things Arizonans do that can seem a bit weird to others. Here’s 11 such examples.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures! And on that note, please nominate your favorite local business that could use some love right now: https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/nominate/
