These 10 Romantic Spots In Arizona Are Perfect To Take That Special Someone
Looking to spend some quality time with your sweetie in the future? Instead of wasting hours of your precious time looking for a romantic getaway–whether for a couple of hours or a few days–check out this list to help you zero in on potential destinations. Or, if all else fails, nothing quite beats spending a quiet night at home.
1. Lazy Dog Ranch, Sierra Vista
If you’re looking for a quiet, secluded area, staying at a bed and breakfast inn is a great option. The Lazy Dog Ranch is located outside of Sierra Vista along a dirt road and you can opt to stay in a casita separate from the main house.
The San Pedro River behind the ranch is great for a quiet walk.
2. Canyon Wren Cabins, Sedona
For a more rustic B&B stay, you can check out Canyon Wren Cabins. This is a great little place to stay after you spend time sightseeing, visiting local spas, and eating at some of the fine dining establishments Sedona has to offer.
3. Prescott in the Pines, Prescott
If you want a more classic image of romance with towering trees, try out this bed and breakfast inn in Prescott.
4. Hacienda del Sol, Tucson
If you’re looking for an intimate getaway that’s slightly more upscale, try staying at a resort, where spas, great food, and luxurious amenities are all located on site. One place we recommend is the Hacienda del Sol in Tucson which has a definite Southwestern feel.
5. Quiessence, Phoenix
You’ll pay extra--a whole lot extra--for a meal here but the food is simply exquisite. Plus, a setting like this is perfect for a night for two.
6. Kingfisher, Tucson
If you’re looking for more a night on the town feel, try bringing your date to Kingfisher in Tucson. The food is delicious and you won’t leave feeling too full.
7. Oak Creek Canyon, Sedona
If you and your sweetie are a little more active, try going for a hike and having a picnic in Arizona’s beautiful landscape. Oak Creek Canyon offers some beautiful views.
8. Mogollon Rim
Another great location to have a romantic picnic is along the Mogollon Rim. We suggest going in the late summer or fall when the crowds become more sparse.
9. Saguaro National Park
What about enjoying a beautiful Arizona sunset, like here at Saguaro National Park? The lighting is soft, the sights are beautiful, and the area is quiet.
10. Dinner boat cruise at Canyon Lake
What a view! You can enjoy sights like this while eating dinner on the Dolly Steamboat with your sweetheart at Canyon Lake. You can choose either the sunset dinner cruise or, if you want to enjoy a meal under the stars, the astronomy dinner cruise.
