Looking for a little holiday cheer? You need to head straight to the fairgrounds in Palmer for the best holiday lights in Alaska! Alaska’s largest drive-through holiday display is a must-see this winter season.
Get ready to have some fun, because Alaska’s largest drive-through holiday light display starts this week.
On Thanksgiving, you can pack up the whole family to see the larger-than-life light display while you cruise along in your warm and toasty car.
Drive a mile through the fairgrounds where you see over 70 light displays towering over the snow and ice.
More than half of these light displays are brand new for 2022. That means even if you’ve done this drive in previous years, this year will have all new amazing things to see!
Enjoy your drive with the radio blasting holiday tunes.
The holiday music will be broadcasted directly to your radio, so you can enjoy the show perfectly synced up to the light displays. You’ll want to enjoy the show from your car, as you’re not allowed to exit the vehicle once you start your drive.
After the drive through the entire fair, don’t forget to stop off at The Christmas Factory on the fairgrounds.
Tour Santa’s workshop, deliver a personalized letter to Santa’s mailbox, and get a peek into the elf wrapping room. Don’t forget to power up Santa’s sleigh and enjoy a treat in Mrs. Claus’ bakery! If you’re lucky you’ll see Santa himself.
After November 23rd, prices start at $25.00 per personal vehicle. Each ticket is good for one trip through the fairgrounds.
The light display is open from Thanksgiving through December 11th on Thursday through Sundays.
December 15th through December 31st it’s open every single day. Hours of operation are 5:00 p.m. through 9:00 p.m. each open day.
This is a great way to infuse a little holiday cheer into your life!
The whole family will love to drive through this exciting display of oversized light sculptures. And kick off your holiday season in style!
