Spring is in the air, and tasty takeout tacos should be on the menu. Alaska is filled with excellent restaurants that serve amazing tacos, and now is the best time to order them for takeout. Once you try one of these restaurants on this list, you’ll need to try them all!
This awesome little place in Seward is owned by the same people who run The Cookery. All of their tacos are crafted with their house-made corn tortillas. Find flavor combos like the "Elote," a vegetarian option filled with roasted corn, poblano, black beans, onions, and cotija cheese. Or try their carnitas, a tender, slow cooked pork option. Don't forget to add on their cilantro lime rice or pinto beans! They are currently open for to-go Friday through Tuesday, from 11:30 a.m. through 8:00 p.m.

2. Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant, Anchorage and Eagle River, Alaska
Servicing two towns in the Anchorage municipality, Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant has been a favorite in this area for awhile! They have many delicious tacos, but a big favorite is Tacos Sabrosos, served on two flour tacos and filled with steak, guacamole, onions and salsa. Jalapeños Mexican Restaurant is currently offering free chips and salsa with every pick up order, and 10% off every order placed online on their website. They are currently open for pickup and delivery every day at both locations from 11:00 a.m. through 9:00 p.m.
This fantastic Mexican grill offers all of your favorites. You can order crispy or soft tacos, with beef or chicken, and topped with lettuce, tomato, and cheese. Or try the mouthwatering Tacos De Carnitas, filled with pork roast grilled carnitas sautéed whit cilantro, onion and tomato. You'll love any taco you try! They are open for pick up and delivery Monday - Thursday, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. On Friday and Saturday you can order anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., and they are closed on Sundays.
Miguel's Authentic Mexican Cuisine offers up tasty taco choices, like the Halibut Taco. Filled with grilled halibut, cabbage, pico de Gallo, white sauce, and a lime wedge, it's served on two corn tortillas. They also have a taco salad if you're craving a taco but want something a little lighter. You can find all this and more on their menu. They're open for takeout Monday through Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. through 8:00 p.m.
