If there’s one thing Alaska knows how to do well, it’s pizza! We have amazing pizza places all over this huge place. It’s hard to choose just one, but if we had to, Moose Tooth pizza in Anchorage, Alaska would take our vote. Voted the #3 pizza restaurant in the United States of America on TripAdvisor, this Alaskan classic has unique flavor combinations that will have you hooked. With the best home made dough in the state, a top secret, mouth watering marinara sauce, and rotating specials that blow you out of the water, this spot takes the number one spot on our pizza restaurant list! They also have an incredible award winning brewing company called Broken Tooth Brewing. And if you’re in the need for Mexican food, head to their sister restaurant Bear Tooth for a twist on all your favorite Mexican dishes.
What is the best restaurant in Alaska?
This is a tough one, and so subjective! You’d have to break it down by location or type of food. The entire state offers incredible, award-winning food. Fine dining forerunners are The Crow’s Nest in Anchorage and Seven Glaciers in Girdwood, and pizza is definitely the Moose Tooth from sheer popularity and consistency. But we have scores of fabulous bakeries like Fire Island Bakery in Anchorage and Two Sisters Bakery in Homer. We have so many talented restauranteurs and amazing chefs in this wonderful state!
