These 9 Mouth-Watering Steakhouses In Alaska Are A Carnivore’s Dream
Some days you start to crave Mexican food, other days you find your mouth is watering over the thought of Italian or Chinese; if you’re anything like me, you’re ALWAYS craving a juicy, tender, grilled to perfection steak. There is something melt-in-your-mouth magical about a perfectly seasoned and seared steak with a side of garlic mashed potatoes and your favorite cold brew. If your mouth isn’t already watering then I don’t know what’s wrong with you. Maybe you’re vegetarian and I totally get that, but if you’re craving steak like me, you’ll head to one of these AMAZING steak joints right away!

Sullivans is in downtown Anchorage in the 5th Ave. mall, and their cocktails are almost as great as their steaks!

In Juneau there is a fine dining steakhouse with an awesome menu selection called Salt, it’s a must visit if you’re in town!
AJ’s is in Homer and I promise you will lick your plate clean after every meal.
The Double Musky Inn is located in Girdwood and offers some awesome Cajun fare for the weary recruiters coming off the mountainside.
Mmmmmm Orso, I’d have to argue that their steaks are BETTER than their seafood, but that’s personal preference. Then again, would I ever steer you wrong?! The atmosphere is lovely too 🙂 Great spot for happy hour and some delicious food.
Another Anchorage classic but it can’t go without being mentioned. Their meat selection is vast and each meal is grilled to perfection. Pair your meal with their insanely deeeelish Pomegranate Mojito.
On the outskirts of Fairbanks is The Pump House, their menu covers everything from steak to seafood and the atmosphere takes you back to the charming gold rush era - a great combo for a fine night out!
