This little one-bedroom cottage was built in the 1950s and originally served as Palmer’s Public Library until 1968. It was moved to Talkeetna on the Alaska Railroad and was initially used as a homesteader’s cabin.

The window offers a stunning view into the forest surrounding the property. This beautiful place has been renovated and upgraded into a charming space that you can now rent on Airbnb!

You’ll find a full kitchen, a washer and dryer, and everything you need to make yourself at home. The living room boasts two couches, including a queen-sized sleeper sofa.

You’ll find shampoo, conditioner, a hair dryer, and cozy towels available.

There are black out curtains to keep out the sun, and plenty of extra blankets and pillows should you need them. The cottage is family-friendly, and there’s a pack and play and even children’s dishes available for the littlest ones in your party.

There are still some dates available for this upcoming summer, so book quickly! This amazing spot will most likely be reserved soon.
