This awesome little restaurant is located in Nome, Alaska.
Known throughout Alaska for their incredible baked goods, it’s one of the number one rated restaurants in Nome. The owner Erica is also the chef and her baked goods are legendary.
All of the delicious baked goods are prepared hot and fresh daily.
You can expect such treats as olive oil, potato, and rosemary dinner rolls. Or you can grab a fresh loaf of rustic whole grain bread.
Their lunch options include a tasty sandwich of the day, with creations like roast beef with au jus and blue cheese.
You’ll also enjoy their roasted bbq pulled turkey sandwich when available. If you’re not a meat-eater, don’t worry. They have a vegetarian option so good they put delicious in the name: the House Vegetable Delicious Sandwich.
Although rare to find in the bush, this Alaskan restaurant offers fresh, delightful salads.

Pingo is open Wednesday through Sunday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m.
If you want to try their dinner, they also open for an evening meal Wednesday through Sunday, but only with advanced planning with the chef! So, make sure to call ahead for reservations.
