Award-Winning Restaurants Seem To Outnumber The Residents Of Girdwood, A Tiny Town In Alaska

The new owners purchased in 1979, and they've been serving fantastic steak and cajun style food to locals and tourists alike. This stunning restaurant takes you all across the world with "fat and lean world cuisine." You'll enjoy every minute of trying out fantastic recipes from all over the world! 3. Seven Glaciers, Alyeska Resort
Seven Glaciers is an incredible fine dining experience 2,300 feet up Mount Alyeska. Enjoy stunning views of seven different glaciers and the valley below you while dining with one of the best menus and wine lists in Alaska. A Four Dimond restaurant, this gorgeous place has collected accolades all over the place including many Wine Spectator Awards, the Four Dimond designation, Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor and Diner's Choice Award from OpenTable, among many others. It doesn't seem to matter what you eat at this cool restaurant, everything is delicious! From deep dish pizzas, to chicken nachos, to fresh Alaskan seafood, you're guaranteed a fabulous meal when you eat here. It's casual but has a killer liquor and wine list, and the place is hopping from open til close. They've won TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence four years in a row and counting! 5. The Ice Cream Shop
Even the ice cream shops get in on the action! Head over to The Ice Cream Shop for incredible locally made Alaskan ice cream, the perfect after dinner treat. Or even the perfect mid-day treat!
