There are plenty of things that you’ll see in Alaska that will stun and awe you. And driving into the state the very first time is no different: when you see the Welcome to Alaska sign, you’ll be equal parts excited and stunned! We think it’s the most beautiful welcome-to-a-state sign we’ve ever seen… but it’s possible that we’re biased.
Welcome to Alaska! Alaska is a pretty unique state, as it’s the largest state in the country.
Because of its size, mountain ranges, deep, below-freezing temperatures, and long miles between small towns, the road system in Alaska has always been a challenge to keep up and maintain.

It helps that the signs are for some incredible places, like the Arctic Circle. And traveling to Alaska from Canada or the Lower 49 is an adventure that many people look forward to doing in their lifetime.
