Throughout the year, Alabama hosts a variety of festivals, including several that celebrate food. One of these food festivals is the Cullman Strawberry Festival. For information about this annual food festival, take a look below.
The Cullman Strawberry Festival, Alabama's oldest strawberry festival, is a yearly event that attracts numerous people from all across the state and beyond. This year's festival is scheduled to take place on May 7th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Depot Park. Admission is FREE!
The main feature of this festival is of course strawberries, so be sure to stop by the Festhalle Farmers Market early in the day to purchase a basket of fresh strawberries to take home with you.
There's also a great lineup of entertainment scheduled this year to help close out the festival, including The Georgia Thunderbolts at 4 p.m., Chayce Beckham at 7 p.m., and Gin Blossoms at 8 p.m.
