Cullman Strawberry Festival: Best Food Festival In Alabama

Throughout the year, Alabama hosts a variety of festivals, including several that celebrate food. One of these food festivals is the Cullman Strawberry Festival. For information about this annual food festival, take a look below.

The Cullman Strawberry Festival, Alabama's oldest strawberry festival, is a yearly event that attracts numerous people from all across the state and beyond. This year's festival is scheduled to take place on May 7th from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Depot Park. Admission is FREE!

The main feature of this festival is of course strawberries, so be sure to stop by the Festhalle Farmers Market early in the day to purchase a basket of fresh strawberries to take home with you.

On the day of the festival, you can expect to see a variety of food vendors selling everything from burgers and hotdogs, to nachos and funnel cakes.

There will also be arts and crafts vendors selling a great selection of everything from clothing to handmade jewelry and pottery.

The Cullman Strawberry Festival will also be hosting a baking competition that lets participants bake their favorite strawberry treat.

Games, inflatables, amusement rides, and more will be available for children of all ages.

There's also a great lineup of entertainment scheduled this year to help close out the festival, including The Georgia Thunderbolts at 4 p.m., Chayce Beckham at 7 p.m., and Gin Blossoms at 8 p.m.
