Lake Guntersville State Park, which covers nearly 6,000 acres, is located on the eastern shore of Lake Guntersville – Alabama’s largest lake (69,000 acres). Because of everything Lake Guntersville State Park offers, it’s considered one of Alabama’s best state parks.
