Now that this year’s Christmas season has officially begun, there’s no better way to celebrate than by attending one of the most unique Christmas events in Alabama: the 3rd Annual Santa Fly-In and Toy Drive. Imagine the joy your family will feel while watching Santa’s airplane arrival. There aren’t many Christmas events like this one, so you certainly don’t want to miss it. UPDATE: The Russellville Municipal Airport is still accepting donations for the toy drive. The last day to bring donations will be Friday, December 16th. Santa is scheduled for next year, so hopefully bad weather won’t affect his arrival again.

The 3rd Annual Santa Fly-In and Toy Drive is scheduled to take place at Russellville Municipal Airport (Bill Pugh Field) on Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

While at the fly-in, you'll also have the chance to walk around and look at all of the other airplanes. And who knows? You might even have the opportunity to sit in Santa's airplane and become his new co-pilot.

Because this fly-in is also a toy drive, you'll want to bring a new toy to donate. Santa will make sure to deliver all of the toys to kids in need this Christmas season. This wonderful toy drive benefits the Russellville Fire Department's "Helping Santa" program.

And finally, don't forget your camera! This event is a great chance for your child to have their picture taken with Santa and to share with him any of their last-minute Christmas wishes.
