This lovely town is home to several spacious parks, beautiful tree-lined neighborhoods, and a wonderful downtown area.   • Monroeville. Monroeville is known as the "Literary Capital of Alabama," and it's also the county seat of Monroe County. Its nickname derives from the fact that it's the hometown of several award-winning writers. Harper Lee, Truman Capote, Cynthia Tucker, and more all called this place home. The town's main attraction is the Old Monroe County Courthouse, which features the courtroom that was modeled in the film version of Lee's "To Kill A Mockingbird."
  • Magnolia Springs. Magnolia Springs is a beautiful town that's in Baldwin County. It's right at the headwaters of the Magnolia River and has some of the most scenic drives in Alabama. Interestingly, it's home to the only water mail delivery route in the United States! Magnolia Springs features gorgeous scenery, a cozy bed and breakfast, and some wonderful options for dining.
