Alabama is home to many wonderful parks, one of which is Dunnavant Valley Park. Even though this park hasn’t been open quite a year, it has still welcomed numerous visitors and continues to receive rave reviews. To learn all about Dunnavant Valley Park in Alabama, take a look below.

Dunnavant Valley Park is a scenic park that's located in Birmingham, Alabama.

Covering 12 acres, it's also one of the state's newest parks, having opened in spring of 2022. It's a hidden gem!

Although it's a much smaller park when compared to many other parks in Alabama, Dunnavant Valley Park still has some great features, including its 1.5-acre pond, which many people enjoy fishing from.

There are also two large pavilions that are situated on the property, so consider packing a lunch and planning a family day trip to this Alabama park.

If you enjoy hiking, you're in luck because Dunnavant Valley Park also offers a few trails. Keep in mind, dogs are allowed to join you. However, they must remain leashed at all times.

Do you have children? If so, you'll certainly want to bring them along to the park with you. They'll love the woodland-themed playground.

And finally, for the visitors' convenience, Dunnavant Valley Park also offers public restrooms, which makes it that much easier to spend all day here.
